Vision for youth and children's ministries

We believe that our children are a gift from God, and that we have a responsibility to show them the way to have a relationship with God. We do this through healthy involvement, positive role models and active encouragement and nurture using the scriptures as our base, and the life and love of Christ as our example. We aim to cater for all children no matter what age, or circumstance, whilst providing age appropriate material, activities and events.

Kids Hope

Grey Street Primary School Child Mentoring Program

Kids Hope Mentoring is a non-profit organisation that operates throughout Australia. Traralgon Baptist partners with Grey Street Primary School to provide weekly one to one mentoring for students needing extra support. These are trained mentors who meet with a student for one hour a week during the school year.  Kids Hope not only meets the needs of vulnerable children but provides opportunity to connect with families and teachers.

Kidz Rock!

Fun, encouraging, faith-based innovative Bible teaching for kids

Kidz Rock! provides an environment for kids to learn and grow in their faith. Spiritual transformation happens when kids come to know Jesus, rather than just know about Jesus. Our job is to prepare the soil of kids’ hearts so seeds of faith can grow, and a true relationship with Jesus can happen. We meet on Sundays at 10am (during School term) in the Church Hall. We welcome all Prep to Year 8 children.
